There are a few adventures I've had along the way in Bali that has been so unforgettable, and some are worth a shout. My journey to Ubud this time is certainly one of them. I'm super excited to share with you my stay at the Amandari Ubud. As you may know, Aman is designed to frame the natural settings. Each hotel is renowned for space and privacy, instilling a sense of peace.

CHECKING IN

With so many incredible experiences and stays to have in Bali, it is sometimes indeed a tough choice! Since I came to Bali this year, I've been on the lookout for amazing adventures and stays and Amandari is one such experience that is nice to have while in Ubud.

As soon as I arrived, I was completely stunned, lost for words. It's like evoking village life between paddy and jungle in Bali's cultural hub that blew me away. The setting is inspired by a traditional village, framed by a jungle and rice terraces and overlooking the Ayung River Valley.

OVERNIGHT EXPERIENCE AT VALLEY SUITE

Stepping into the room was really something. The room was authentic, designed over 220 square meters, set in houses decorated with coconut & teak wood, bamboo ceilings, and alang-alang thatching, in addition, it was offering a balcony with views of the Ayung River and a private garden. There's nothing such TV or home speaker and floor-to-ceiling glass doors on each side of the room made my experience so surreal and unique. Here everything felt so natural and raw. As you could imagine, I fell asleep with the sounds of animals that happen just meters away.

Breakfast: An a la carte style with an 'all can choose' concept from the menu. Smoothies, fried rice, and pastry basket are recommended to have while having breakfast with a view of the pool and jungle.

Swimming pool: Experience the iconic emerald-hued infinity pool with views onto the verdant jungle below.

RECOMMENDATION

Amandari is best for wellness retreats, and cultural encounters, with 75 minutes by car from Bali's Denpasar airport.
